by Julia CameronThe Prosperous Heart

In The Prosperous Heart, Julia Cameron, author of the international bestseller The Artists Way, presents a 12 week programme for using practical financial tools – in partnership with your creative heart and soul.

Drawing on her decades of experience working with artists as an expert on a creative process, Cameron shines a clear light on the path to forging a healthy relationship with money and a rich creative life.

I was asking myself  “Jude, would you rather live a life of prosperity or a life of lack? Are you ready to shift into?” Then by sheer universal magnetism along came Julia Cameron’s approach to how we could live our lives in a prosperous heart. Her way is simple, effective and turns your view on how to live in a prosperous way creatively. In only 6 weeks this book takes you step by step, and a ‘step up’ each week with exercises on how to  live in gratitude, counting your money without judging yourself, using powerful affirmations and working with your god or higher consciousness and thanking him/her. De-cluttering areas of your home and relationships.

Already I have resolved issues with money and how to ‘value’ myself more and I am learning how to live more prosperously and live more abundantly.

There will be aha! moments and your perception of money changes with daily walks, time out thinking, counting and daily 3 page journalling. It all wonderfully supports you along your path to a more financially prosperous future. Blown out the window is the idea that we are in a recession. Not with Cameron’s book, there is an abundant world out there you just have to change your focus and create a wonderful plan of richness in your life.

How to become a Money Magnetby Marie-Claire Carlyle

I enjoyed this practical and honest book about creating prosperity and the personal anecdotes’, simple exercises and clear affirmations.

Marie Claire talks openly about her journey from poverty consciousness to creating unlimited abundance, which I found engaging and honest.

Here mantra in nearly every chapter is “The money is already there. The only thing from preventing you from being rich is you.”

Initially this sounded a bit preachy, but stick with it. They say a new belief takes 21 days to embed in the mind.

I liked the vision boards suggestion. To be playful with cut and paste images of what you want – sounded fun. Plus, the regular checklist summary is at the end of each chapter. Useful especially if you like to dip in and out of a book.

This is a clear concise book about getting focused and getting what you truly want.

This book combines the powerful energy of crystals with that of the Law of Attraction and the so-called ‘High Five’: positive feeling, positive thought, positive action, positive will and positive energy. It is a very practical book with a positive focus to help the support the reader in his or her personal ascension process. I especially loved all the little recipes, such as “A Crystal Recipe to Manifest Love” and “A Crystal Recipe to Manifest Health and Well-being”. I am looking forward to start trying them out!

by Patty HarpenauThe Life Codes

The first thing that struck me about this book, before I even read it, is how beautiful it is. Stunningly presented in hardback, it is filled with amazing photography, artwork and thoughtfully laid out text. Drawing on wisdom from three major belief systems – Islam, Judaism and Christianity – the author describes a young woman’s experiences in Jerusalem following the death of her father where she learns fundamental truths about the nature of love, healing and abundance. The book is designed to be read in seven stages, whether over the course of a week or in longer stages.

Definitely a book to be savoured – it takes time and attention to take in the depth of the teaching, but it is well worth it. This is a wonderful book to work with, highly recommended.
