by The Spiritual Sojourn CentreSpirit of White Jaguar

The CD starts with South American style music and the calls of birds with a deep underlying beat to soothe and relax the listener.

The female voice starts to list the links to Pachamama and Peru – Cuzco is the city of the White Jaguar and Lake Titicaca means Lake of the Stone White Jaguar. She also explains that more White Jaguar people are incarnating to help bring balance to Mother Earth.

The systems for guided meditation are then set up – following the breath and surrounding the self with White Light for protection. You are then guided to see Pachamama and White Jaguar. The voice explains that White Jaguar is with you because part of your spiritual journey is to be alone like White Jaguar. White Jaguar never seeks to be seen – you only know where it has been – White Jaguar does not need to depend on ego. White Jaguar comes to tell you to stop procrastinating and move forward with faith and courage. Don’t lash out at others from your own pain; honour others, ourselves, Mother Earth/ Pachamama, hearth and home.

Inca Shamans must follow the 4 fold path of the Medicine Wheel and the voice goes on to guide you along the directions South, West, North and East. Then there is a request for healing at all levels and the music comes back to the fore and the meditative state for healing is invoked. This goes on for about half of the taped session.

The voice returns and there is a call for us to transcend time and live life wisely and in harmony with Pachamama. We are asked to consider the way that we use resources and how we can be more respondent to the natural flow of our environment. White Jaguar medicine is then invoked for us to take control of our lives and become leaders. We are asked to send healing to Mother Earth. Then the tape begins to bring us back to ourselves, closes the chakras, leaving us revitalised and recharged. The voice ends with the welcome back to our lives.

The music returns and fades slowly out for the end of the session.

This meditation is easy to follow and has a good beginning and completion; you are left feeling refreshed and thoughtful about White Jaguar and Pachamama. The idea of the Medicine Wheel would have to be followed up in another form to have any benefit, but there is an abundance of Shamanic writing/guidance on this for those who are interested in taking it further. A good basic meditation for anyone to use, beginner or experienced meditator – though those with more experience may have wished for there to be a little less music and for it to have been shorter.

By AF FirebirdThe Reluctant Goddess

Ellena Ripley is a bookshop owner from a rural town in the south of England – or so she thinks. But lately, she has a growing sense that life is not as it seems. At night, she dreams of a serene man who appears to be trying to tell her something; In the day, she can’t shake a feeling of expectation. But of what?

Meanwhile Hector, servant of LIFE and the man from Ellena’s dreams, has a dilemma. How do you tell someone they are a goddess? His previous attempts have met with disaster so he must be cautious, particularly when his new trainee, Boudica, formerly Queen of the Iceni tries to help. The question is can they succeed before it is too late?

I love reading about metaphysics and I truly enjoy fantasy fiction. This book combines the two in a wonderful way. I got sucked into the book straight away and enjoyed the varied characters and twists and turns of the story. Dogs that are guides, angels that do not follow the rules, Goddesses that think they are simply 48-year old women with high expectations and physical assets moving south. Nothing is quite as it seems in this book. Some of the scenes really made me laugh. To be able to make one think deeply of life at one moment and giggle at the next makes an author into an alchemist of sorts. I definitely recommend this book as it will inspire you to look at life from a different perspective and at the same time keep a sense of fun.

by Wendy StokesLightworker's Circle Guide

The Lightworkers Circle guide is expertly written by Wendy Stokes, a medium and teacher with 20 years experience. The book is set out clearly, with step by step guide to setting intentions of the group, safety and suitability of individuals, expectations of teacher and students, protocol, and space to grow learn and explore spiritual matters.

I found the book easy to follow, and as a group leader myself, there were some useful tips for those starting out. Wendy is obviously well read and has the maturity and insight to compile this book – which shows her deep connection to working with Spirit and her Guides.

I particularly liked the set guided mediations in Chapter 8. Lovely, simple and clear. A great gift and an easy read. Recommended.

by  Mike WilliamsonWorking in the Realms of Spirit

Mike Williamson has been a Clairvoyant Medium for the last thirty years, only discovering his clairvoyant abilities in his thirties. In Working In The Realms Of Spirit, he and his family find themselves renovating and living in a large farmhouse in Surrey, UK, full of unwelcome spiritual visitors. They weren’t going to give in to these forces that were plaguing them and making their lives unpleasant but first of all they had to understand them. Mike himself says: “‘As we couldn’t find anyone to get rid of them for us, we had to learn how to do it ourselves.”

They start their journey to understand the part they play on Earth as eternal beings, by going to a number of ‘unusual’ spiritual circles. Eventually, Mike and his wife Jan, who is also a Medium, find the right circle and build up their protective power, understanding of the workings of Spirit, and healing abilities, enough to become Rescue Mediums. Their task is to help ‘lost souls’ to go into The Light and Home. Always at their side are powerful Spiritual Guardians. The one who calls himself Richard teaches them everything they need to know about the universal laws governing the behaviour of spirits. It is mostly with Richard’s wise and loving assistance, coupled with extensive training, that Mike and Jan act as part of a Spiritual Police Force that keeps the physical world safe from negative energies that want to cause mayhem in our realm. For years they have been acting on Richard’s memorable advice when it comes to a clearing: “‘When in doubt, chuck ‘em out!”

Mike is still fully engaged in the duties of a Rescue Medium, unmasking ‘impostors’ and ejecting any negative entities hanging around various properties, as well as teaching others to recognise and use their own budding clairvoyant abilities.

As a Medium myself, I can honestly say that I have never heard of so many questions being asked and answered so clearly. Mike and Jan Williamson are very fortunate to have such ‘transparent’ Spiritual Guardians watching over them. I have learnt a great deal from their painstaking accounts of the conversations they had with their Guides, and spiritual visitors, both good and bad.

by Klaus Heinemann & Gundi HeinemannOrbs

Klaus and Gundi Heinemann have written inspiringly and coherently about the scientific authenticity of Orbs and their probable significance as messengers and emanations of and from the Spirit world, now having a physical form and communication with us here in 3D. In co-authoring the book they have imparted two very definite rhythms successfully integrating the scientific with the intuitive and exploring the many messages of the Orbs.

The book documents varied and fabulous pictures capturing Orbs under quite different circumstances ~ some controlled and others spontaneous.  Some having faces within them, others beautifully coloured and multifaceted with light, others opaque and again others nearly clear and translucent in form. The size and shape differ as do the speeds at which they travel – some leaving corridors of light around them as they move at vast speeds, others hovering there, then mysteriously vanish.  They have been clairvoyantly identified as Ascended Masters, others as Angels, but whatever their essence it appears certain that they are a communication from the Spirit realms who are recognized as being in close contact with humanity at this point in our evolvement.

Is it, they ask, because we humans as a whole are now more open to the presence of these loving Spirits in our lives that they are appearing so prolifically? Perhaps they have always been there but only comparatively recently have we humans developed a technology that can capture their essence in our 3D world. Digital cameras were the key turning point. Klaus explains how it is possible for the Spirit Beings to use a tiny bit of our physical energy with theirs to create themselves as form, turning the non-physical into the physical. It also appears that the focus and intent of the photographer can have everything to do with the resultant photo, as does the spiritual integrity and maturity of the person taking the photograph: read the amazing ‘through the lens-cap photography’ stories also documented and recounted in this fascinating book.

The luminous globes of colour and light known to us as Orbs appear as focus points seeming to draw attention to actions, be in agreement with a broadcast message, be present around charismatic people and events, in Healings, with children, as guardians, at sacred places and times – in fact they are all around us. This light energy is unmistakably Spiritual in essence and their message is one of very positive contact giving us encouragement and help with every step that we take. They are intuitively felt and understood as symbols of the Spirit worlds speaking directly to the soul, magnificent and varied in their communication and evoking the mystery of our existence.

by Rosemary StephensonTelsa the Healing Dog

According to Diana Cooper this is “the amazing true story of a boxer dog who had an extraordinary healing gift. The author’s love for this beautiful animal shines from the pages as she describes how Telsa convinced even sceptics of the power of healing. Rosemary explains how her boxer opened people’s hearts and that those who were terrified of dogs changed so completely, they started to love them too. If you love dogs and Angels and are ready to open your heart then this is the book for you”.

Let me begin by telling you I am a cat person. I actually have a bit of a fear for dogs due to past circumstances. Yet I felt drawn to review this book. I have known Rosemary’s work with her crystal bowls through one of Diana Cooper’s CD’s. So I was truly interested to read a book by Rosemary. And somehow the title of the book sounded fun to me.

The book is very pleasant to the eye with a lovely violet cover and violet colored letters throughout. Initially the reader becomes acquainted with both Rosemary’s life and that of Telsa the Healing dog. Telsa is there through personal turmoil and change in Rosemary’s life. Later on in the book there are many healing stories of Telsa. She would help dogs overcome their reluctance to interact with other dogs. She helped people open their hearts. She would be the main star of the nursing home when the old people and staff would receive healing. Telsa would join in Rosemary’s healing sessions and groups to help with healing whenever possible. She also helped people with fear of dogs overcome this fear. It makes me wonder what would have happened if I would have had the opportunity of getting to know this very special dog.

Telsa is now a spirit dog continuing her healing work with Rosemary, giving wonderful angelic signs of her presence.

When you read of the amazing gentleness and sensitivity this dog had, you start wondering if she was perhaps a master in disguise. It surely helps the reader to realize that we share this world with many sentient beings. We are surrounded by healing, wisdom and magic if only we have eyes to see, and ears to hear. We may be surprised to find that it comes in the form of a boxer dog.
