by The Spiritual Sojourn CentreSpirit of White Jaguar

The CD starts with South American style music and the calls of birds with a deep underlying beat to soothe and relax the listener.

The female voice starts to list the links to Pachamama and Peru – Cuzco is the city of the White Jaguar and Lake Titicaca means Lake of the Stone White Jaguar. She also explains that more White Jaguar people are incarnating to help bring balance to Mother Earth.

The systems for guided meditation are then set up – following the breath and surrounding the self with White Light for protection. You are then guided to see Pachamama and White Jaguar. The voice explains that White Jaguar is with you because part of your spiritual journey is to be alone like White Jaguar. White Jaguar never seeks to be seen – you only know where it has been – White Jaguar does not need to depend on ego. White Jaguar comes to tell you to stop procrastinating and move forward with faith and courage. Don’t lash out at others from your own pain; honour others, ourselves, Mother Earth/ Pachamama, hearth and home.

Inca Shamans must follow the 4 fold path of the Medicine Wheel and the voice goes on to guide you along the directions South, West, North and East. Then there is a request for healing at all levels and the music comes back to the fore and the meditative state for healing is invoked. This goes on for about half of the taped session.

The voice returns and there is a call for us to transcend time and live life wisely and in harmony with Pachamama. We are asked to consider the way that we use resources and how we can be more respondent to the natural flow of our environment. White Jaguar medicine is then invoked for us to take control of our lives and become leaders. We are asked to send healing to Mother Earth. Then the tape begins to bring us back to ourselves, closes the chakras, leaving us revitalised and recharged. The voice ends with the welcome back to our lives.

The music returns and fades slowly out for the end of the session.

This meditation is easy to follow and has a good beginning and completion; you are left feeling refreshed and thoughtful about White Jaguar and Pachamama. The idea of the Medicine Wheel would have to be followed up in another form to have any benefit, but there is an abundance of Shamanic writing/guidance on this for those who are interested in taking it further. A good basic meditation for anyone to use, beginner or experienced meditator – though those with more experience may have wished for there to be a little less music and for it to have been shorter.

Produced for Jacqui Meadows of Spiritual SojournsUnicorn Magic

Unicorns bring magic into our lives. Coming from the same realm as the Angels they work on our higher consciousness and remind us of our connection to Source. Unicorns bring playfulness back into our lives, while dispelling the monsters within … those old thought forms that we carry subconsciously as negative programming through fear, and later as we grow up, cynicism about life. The Unicorn Collection invites you to receive very powerful healing especially in times of soul loss or where you have given your power away through difficult emotional situations in your life.

This beautiful collection offers three powerful meditations:

Unicorn Magic is the first guided visualisation. It invites you to explore the magic and alchemy in your life, i.e. what needs transmuting from lead to gold?

The second CD is called Unicorns in the Mist. This instrumental music meditation brings the gentle healing essence of the Unicorns close to you on the earth plane. This CD can be used for humans, horses and especially children in the home – notice the magic in your life when using this CD particularly when in Mother Nature as you connect with her. See the beautiful healing orbs as they bounce into your life.

The third and last of this trio is called Unicorn Enchantment. It’s guided visualisation invites you into the world of the unicorns. The dimension of angels and unicorns brings deep healing and soul retrieval into your life, and dispels all negativity within the aura. This is a powerful CD which takes the listener into an enchanting journey where unicorns live.

I loved receiving these three CD’s. One should take time out to enjoy them as they are an hour long each, parts of which are instrumental. The music is powerful yet relaxing. It is like a story in itself, taking you on a journey. The violin brings inner peace and the piano chords add deep relaxation. Tinkling sounds bring a sense of magic and enchantment. The voice guiding the meditations is pleasant and softly spoken. I did need to wear headphones as the music is a bit loud compared to the spoken meditation. Nonetheless this made the music really seep in helping let go of all that surrounded me and move into a deep alpha state.

I loved the first guided meditation where 12 unicorn guides bring rainbow light to your energy field, after which you are guided into a forest by Merlin himself to meet your Unicorn. After meeting your Unicorn it carries you away on its wings of light! The instrumental CD is lovely to play on the background during healing work and I will use it when doing my readings and making my sculptures. I am sure it will inspire me to make more unicorns. I will leave the third CD as a surprise. Suffice it to say it felt like a deeply healing and balancing CD to me.

By White EagleEarth Healer

The chapters provide occasional glimpses of White Eagles’ own life on earth, and of the principle brother/sisterhood that is so central to his teaching.  Bruce Clarke’s photographs of the landscape not only adds delight to this book but gives a sense that what we are seeking to be in harmony with is something real, solid and lovely.

A simple but beautiful book, each chapter takes you on a journey to explain on how work with Mother Earth to heal yourself and open up your spirituality in service to the planet. This is done with
meditations, visualisations and prayers to connect with nature. A little treat!

By Madeleine WalkerThe Whale Whisperer

This has been the best book I have read in ages! I felt myself glued to Madeleline’s adventures and wanted to know about them from one chaper to the next without putting the book down. Madeleine’s adventures deliver messages from many different wild and sacred animal species including the white buffalo, the humpback whale, orcas and bears!

Through each animal, Madeleline translates the knowledge they convey to her to tell ‘us’ humans what we need to know, and not only save humanity but also the natural world.

When you read this book you are drawn in right form the very start by the power of Madeleine’s words, it helps you to re-awaken your deeper knowing and re-connect with them. Madeleine talks about how she overcomes her own fears of her ever-increasing personal power by communicating with these sacred creatures.

Definitely worth a read if you are animal communicator, a lover of animals or just want to deepen your understanding.

Connecting with the ancient wisdom of stones, pebbles and crystals.Sacred Stones

by Philip Permutt and Lyn Palmer

I really enjoyed this book. I have been working with stones and crystals since childhood, but this book still held delights for me to savour. The photos are clear and the snippets of information alongside the text and the everyday practical exercises were a delight. The overall structure of the book takes us from the world of standing stones;  to collecting your own stones and crystals (and there is a good range of what is available and the special forms you can look for within those specimens); to rock art and working with the stones themselves; with a full run down on crystal healing and how to carry it out for yourself and others. All sections draw on the personal experiences of the co-authors and sparkle with their enthusiasm and respect for this area of wisdom.

The book is a guide to discovering your personal connection to the world of pebbles, stones and crystals and to tune into and benefit from their innate energy systems. The simple exercises enable you to work with the stones and crystals to benefit your health and well being. It helps you to find out how sacred stones focus, store, transmit and transmute energy; and gives you techniques to “enter the stones”- to tune in and move deeply within, mingling your energy with that of the stones. This will help you to connect with and feel their power and ancient wisdom and unlock their secrets for yourself.

It is a lovely book for the beginner and the experienced practitioner;  with snippets of information and nuggets of wisdom that can be accessed at whatever level you are at presently.  Each person who picks up the book will enjoy it at their own level and make progress within the world of minerals. It will develop and encourage your curiosity and respect for these lovely treasures of the earth; even if all you do is flick through looking at the beautiful photographs and illustrations. It is also a book that would make a great present for a friend, as it truly has something for everyone in its approach, explanation and language.

by Cheryl Yambrach RoseArt Through The Eyes of the Soul

This oracle deck is a vehicle of great power through which you may access the Mythic beings and Divine entities that inhabit sacred sites and spaces. Deep insights and profound answers are hidden within the paintings.

If you ask, they will provide personal intuitive guidance for you as well as a deep insight and profound answers. Meditating on a card image connects you into the energy field of the location where the painting was conceived. You become the Weaver of your own fate by tuning into your higher self and allowing that spontaneous connection to answer your question or suggest advice. No intermediary need be involved, and your own self-empowerment will result. The box contains 52 gilded cards of original oil paintings with a 1112 page guidebook.

I was very excited to receive these beautiful, artistically made cards. The set is very Magical, and connects one deeply to the sacred sites and the magical part of one’s inner being. I absolutely loved the connection to sacred places that I hold dear to my heart such as the Glastonbury Tor, the Chalice Well and the Fairy Glen in Wales. Various influences can be found in the cards, such as sacred sites from all over the world, goddesses, divine beings and angels.

When picking a card for the readers of Paradigm Shift, I received “Anastacia and the Rising Cedars of Russia” and the card was titled Plant the Seed of a New Template.

This card shows is it is no longer an obligation to follow the dictates of society. It is time to go against the grain. Everything we need to succeed is within us.

This set is a must have for all those who love the old myths, sacred spaces and enjoy mystical art!

by S.V. PeddlePagan Channel Islands

This book, by Sandra and Vince Peddle (S.V. Peddle) explores the fascinating phenomena of the menhirs and dolmens found on the Channel Islands. There are many surviving examples of these standing stones and chambers; many others, however, have been deliberately destroyed or used as building material. Often, those which have survived have done so because of superstitions warning of dire consequences befalling anyone who interferes with the stones. Others have survived because they have been ‘Christianised’ – a cross has been carved on the stone, perhaps, or a church or chapel has been built on the same site.

The authors do a wonderful job of bringing the origins and history of the monuments and stone sites to life. They give a wealth of information on ancient beliefs, rituals and burial practices. Many customs which have survived until the present day in the Islands have their origin in these old Pagan rites.

Although the Channel Islands are part of the UK, they are of course located very close to the coast of France. In the chapter entitled ‘The Isles of Avalon’, the authors refer to evidence that Herm was a ‘major Neolithic entombment centre or resting place of the dead’. There are thousands of neolithic burials on the tiny island of Herm, and there is a strong possibility that many who are buried there had been brought across the sea from the nearby mainland. This could also apply to Sark.

But it is not only death rites that the ancient stones can tell us of. Moon magic, rituals for girls to discover their husbands, witches’ ceremonies, fairy dances and mythical beasts all have associations with the monuments. The mythology of the Channel Islands, documented in this highly readable book, is of interest to residents of the Islands and visitors alike.
