by Madeleine WalkerPets' Past Lives

Put your hands up if you have ever looked into a pet’s eyes and felt a familiarity that seems to run deeper than your current relationship?

Do you get the feeling that your animal companion chose you, rather than the other way round?

Madelaine Walker explains in this book, in her own individual case study on subjects such as “Why do our pets’ lives affect us now?”,  “Are animals always the same species in a past life?”,  “How can our pets heal us?”.  With each story you start to learn that animals are our spiritual teachers and know how privileged we are to share this planet with them.  Their welfare is so important and paramount in helping us to unravel and re-record aspects of our own past lives that could be holding us back in this lifetime; as well as our emotions and physical ailments.

I love Walker’s book and my soul is always touched by the way she connects so deeply with wild animals and the learnt lessons they teach us about this planet and about ourselves. It empowers us and opens our ability to listen and connect to all the beautiful creatures that we share this world with.

by Diana Cooper & Kathy CrosswellThe Keys to the Universe

I’ve been a great fan of Diana Cooper for many years and this book, collaborated with Kathy Crosswell is in my opinion one of the most powerful she has written so far.  The tag line sums up the contents – accessing the ancient secrets by attuning to the power and wisdom of the cosmos – I was enthralled instantly.  Part one titled’ The First Golden Cosmic Keys – Hollow Earth’ includes working with and understanding The Ancient Civilizations: Atlantis; Lemuria; Mu; Petranuim and Angala through to the Ancient Cultures, The Portals, and the Kingdoms.  Part two titled ‘The Second Cosmic Key – Sirius’ includes Time and Speed, Sacred Geometry, Ascended Masters, Spiritual Laws and Oneness.

Written and presented with authority, clarity and much love, I gained an extraordinary amount of new information and insight.

Step by step exercises at the end of each sub-chapter showed clear approaches to connecting with new dimensions, places within and around our planet and star system and Beings of higher vibration, all beautifully accompanied by a lovely CD.

This is my essential reading for our times.  I recommend this book as a definitive user guide to all Lightworkers, Wayshowers and Healers of our new Evolving Planet.

by Harry Massey and David R. Hamilton PHDChoice Point

This book is based on the film Choice Point and offers wisdom, quotes and insights from the World’s Change Makers, Visionaries, Peacemakers and Entrepreneurs such as Richard Branson, Barbara Marx Hubbard, Jack Canfield, Tony Benn, Gregg Braden, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, James Caan and many eminent contributors.

Thoughtfully presented, it shows how to create positive change in our personal lives and to find and follow our true hearts desires.  Coupled with coming together collectively to make this a new reality for our Plane, Choice Point is set in 3 parts: Understanding our World; Align Your purpose and Be the Change.

I found this book clear, modern and thought provoking. Mixing science, personal growth and philosophy in a balanced easy to read manner.  It is especially good for people new on the path of spirituality and discovering their authentic place in the World.

I was truly inspired by the young Birke Baehr. A twelve year old American who is now a leading advocate in sustainable agriculture.  At the tender age of 8, after reading the Internet over his mother’s shoulder about the side affects of corn syrup and the harm of eating processed food on our health, Birke began to ask his mother to buy and prepare organic natural foods.  From this small beginning he has totally focused his young life on studying and sharing his ideas with some of the World’s major players in organic and sustainable farming to promote healthier nutritious ways to eat.  He now writes books for fun, for children; and gives talks to youngsters and adults alike, with the intent to be an organic farmer when he grows up.  Now that’s what I call aligning your purpose!

by Julia CameronThe Prosperous Heart

In The Prosperous Heart, Julia Cameron, author of the international bestseller The Artists Way, presents a 12 week programme for using practical financial tools – in partnership with your creative heart and soul.

Drawing on her decades of experience working with artists as an expert on a creative process, Cameron shines a clear light on the path to forging a healthy relationship with money and a rich creative life.

I was asking myself  “Jude, would you rather live a life of prosperity or a life of lack? Are you ready to shift into?” Then by sheer universal magnetism along came Julia Cameron’s approach to how we could live our lives in a prosperous heart. Her way is simple, effective and turns your view on how to live in a prosperous way creatively. In only 6 weeks this book takes you step by step, and a ‘step up’ each week with exercises on how to  live in gratitude, counting your money without judging yourself, using powerful affirmations and working with your god or higher consciousness and thanking him/her. De-cluttering areas of your home and relationships.

Already I have resolved issues with money and how to ‘value’ myself more and I am learning how to live more prosperously and live more abundantly.

There will be aha! moments and your perception of money changes with daily walks, time out thinking, counting and daily 3 page journalling. It all wonderfully supports you along your path to a more financially prosperous future. Blown out the window is the idea that we are in a recession. Not with Cameron’s book, there is an abundant world out there you just have to change your focus and create a wonderful plan of richness in your life.

by Nick HobsonPsy-Cards

After a marital quarrel, Nick Hobson, who worked as a copywriter at the time, had a vivid dream in which he saw all the elements that made up his life spread out before him like a field. On seeing this patchwork of his life, instead of feeling stressed and put upon, he felt calm, peaceful and in control. When he awoke he wanted to share this personal vision to help others navigate their lives. So Psycards was born in the 1980s with its system of detachable symbols that could be connected to form a bigger picture, an alternative Tarot.

Tarot readers will recognise some of the 40 symbols, such as The Tower and The Moon, but other cards are based on archetypes from Jungian psychology, and take a bit of learning. There is a 227-page book that fully explains the cards as well as a small leaflet for easy reference. Maggie Kneen’s colourful and striking Medieval-flavoured illustrations draw the reader in and are taken from mythology, poetry and folk wisdom, Nick’s favourite subjects.

At the end of each card-explanation in the book, there are Thought Prompts that encourage the reader to delve deeply into their psyche and help them make key life-decisions.

For someone who prefers oracle cards, I find this deck a bit hard to get into, but I will persevere. Tarot readers, though, will find this just their cup of tea, as it’s a very nice set.

by Joanne GregoryASK_20_26_20IT_20WILL_20HAPPEN_20SET_large

My first thought when I took off the cellophane was “what a clever little box this is incorporating an easel in which to slip a card”. It even has a magnetic strip to keep the box secure. I also like the thumbhole that makes it easy to open. As someone who has quite a collection of oracle sets, this is definitely one of the easiest to access and store. It is a great starter-set for someone who has just learnt about The Law of Attraction, as well as being a pleasant reminder of the benevolence of Our Creator for an old hand like me.

There is nothing difficult or complicated about this charming set, illustrated brightly and cheerfully by Eleanor Carter. One card is drawn daily, weekly or monthly to help focus the desire to manifest whatever we feel we need in our lives. As there are messages on both sides, I simply close my eyes and choose one daily. The accompanying booklet expands on the wise advice. To quote Joanne herself “The universe is constructed so that once a clear request is sent out, the laws of the universe are instigated and a result guaranteed.” If we stop and analyse our lives thus far we can see that this process really does work. (I sometimes find that a throwaway idea works the best because I haven’t blocked it with obsession.)

Joanne guides inquirers to ask for what they desire, write it down so they can check back later, tell themselves that whatever is requested is already here, “visualise it over and over again”, then draw a card. “Believe your request will come to you and it will.”

My only complaint about oracle sets in general is that they mostly attract women. Men are spiritual too. Even hairy bikers need loving guidance! So how about some more masculine ones minus the hearts and flowers and ever-present female angels?

by Candace CaddickSaw-New-Earth-front-cover

2012: the most exciting year for the Earth and humanity for a long, long time.

Earth reaches her moment of rebirth, changing completely at the end of the year. She will look the same, but everything will be different. Earth is becoming a whole new planet energetically and your lives cannot stay the same. Humanity is given a fresh start on a vibrant planet, opening to the light areas of business and government that have been hidden for lifetimes. This brings you closer to your own ascension as a soul group, and the completion of your experiences here. 2012 is the year when everything changes for the better.

This book completes a trilogy that began with Planet Earth Today and The Downfall of Atlantis about humanity and the Earth. Each book stands alone, although the story of humanity runs through all three. This is the story of the soul group who chose to learn the hardest way of all on its road to light. The changes over the next decades will challenge you to the centre of your being. You’re on your way home.

Although this book is an extremely ‘easy read’, it is one I felt needed to be taken slowly and steadily to be able to fully digest all the fascinating and encouraging information within its pages. With each chapter being devoted to a particular subject, this book answers many questions whilst opening up new perspectives for the reader to explore. One of the best channelled works I have seen – it has certainly given me much on which to ponder.
