by Heidi Sawyer
The Sixth Sense is the hidden power of intuition that we all have hidden within us. Heidi Sawyer is Course Director for the Institute of Psychic Development and travels the world teaching psychic awareness and self-healing. This book outlines the journey Heidi took to develop her own extrasensory powers and shows you how to cultivate your own with concise and clear advice.
This book is a very easy read, written in down to earth language and offering examples of the author’s own experiences others to develop the ideas and strategies presented for cultivating your own sixth sense. The author describes what it is like to be a psychic and the process of developing your psychic skills. She also gives ideas about how to choose a psychic for yourself for a reading or healing. She explains how to cope when psychic skills are just too much and how to help psychic children.
There are so many points in this book where I found myself saying “…that is so true, I found that too!” For me, Heidi’s book is a confirmation of some of my own experiences, but for those who are not psychic, it may help them to understand those of us who are. Particularly profound is the section where she describes her relationship with her mother who did not want her to be a psychic. This will help lots of people who are, or who have been in a similar situation – it is a great insight into the journeys of those of us who are “different”.
