Alison Chester-Lambert is the founder of the Midlands School of Astrology and runs an Astrological Consultancy practice. In her book, she focuses on a whole family of newly discovered dwarf planets that the astronomers named after deities from little known indigenous cultures. Drawing meaning from their ancient myths, the events surrounding their discovery and, their influence on the human race in the 21st century, she invites the reader to sit comfortably and enjoy unravelling a journey of discovery. .. . . and I did!
This book is very readable, packed with information that is clear and fun and absolutely fascinating , so much so that I didn’t want to put it down and I never thought I would say that about a book on astrology which, until now, I have always found to be very interesting, but far too technical for me to fully understand.
So, if like me you have struggled with complicated astrological jargon, I thoroughly recommend this book.

A truly amazing book which I continue to re-visit frequently as I gain a deeper understanding of our existence within the Universe.
When I read this book, Iwas struck by the in-depth understanding by the author of the interconnectedness between the human race and the infinite energies of the cosmos. How they have shaped our past and continue to shape our present and future. Wonderful stuff!
Such a readable book. It is written in a vein that just ‘talks’ to the reader making it such an easy read. Packed with SO much information it will interest both the astrologers and the non-astrologers. You can tell how much research and thought has gone into the writing of this book. Alison just makes you re-think your place on this planet Earth and how everything connects within the universe. A fabulous read – I enjoyed it just so much.
