by Margrit CoatesAngel Pets

Animals talk to us all the time, and when we listen they can change our lives. In Angel Pets, Margrit Coates shares their incredible true stories. Meet Rusty, the lost dog whom Margrit guided home, using the psychic connection between them; Mitzi, the brave little cat who made the greatest sacrifice; Twinkle, the rabbit who saved a girl’s life; Gypsy, the sheepdog with special healing powers; Freddy’s friend, the demon cat who was really an angel in disguise, and many more wonderful animals. Through these amazing stories and helpful tips, Margrit reveals the secret of tuning into and connecting with pets at the very deepest level.

This book moved me to both tears and laughter, and also amazement that what mankind deems a lower form of life is actually more highly sensitive and aware than we are. Many know of the unconditional love given to them by animals, but this book reveals so many more levels to that love. Animals truly are angels in disguise. Margrit has filled this book with stories of the loved and the abused; giving profoundly moving evidence that animals do experience emotions and fears, and can react to our emotions and fears too. She also gives tips on how to connect with your animals so that your life together can be enriched and expanded.

Read this book and prepare to be moved and perhaps add a new dimension to your way of thinking about the animal kingdom’s place on this planet.

This is a wonderful and practical workbook enabling the reader to heal, and to understand how what we suffer through our experiences can affect us in everyday life. True initiation is empowered by facing personal challenges and experiencing the spritual rebirth – or illumination – that follows.

Carolyn Williams is a gifted healer and channel and an experienced teacher of Angelic Reiki and the Gaiadon Heart Keys of Ascension system. Trained by Edwin Courtenay, she is one of the first teachers of Module 1 of the Inspiration system and facilitates the awakenment of people’s Atlantean memories and energies. Unlike other systems, this 2 day course acts as a foundation for any of the other twelve voluntary modules – and you can choose which of the others interests you most. Module 1 also awakens Atlantean healing energy connections within you, linking you to the Temple of Peace.

The group for the workshop I attended was small (four in number) so that each participant gains the maximum benefit. Carolyn first introduced us to the Inspiration system which has been channelled by Edwin Courtenay to help awaken Atlantean memories and dormant Atlantean DNA. We received our own extensive manual containing many details of the system (which is overseen by the Cosmic Ascended Master Solomon, the Ascended Masters St Germaine and Hilarion, and the angels of Atlantis) and the Atlantean power symbols. Carolyn also presented each of us with a crystal contained in its own coloured pouch, and explained why this particular stone had been chosen. She also gave each person details (previously channelled by Edwin) of the energetic devices which had been affecting us and the assurance that these would be removed in the first day.

Following the introduction, the first day was filled with profound and moving meditative journeys and awakenments, interspersed with precious nuggets of information. Each journey brought something new and amazing and the presence of powerful energies was palpable, particularly in the meditation where the ancient energy attachments were removed. Carolyn guides you through each day easily and safely, and there is a constant feeling of love and serenity. She also makes sure there are set breaks to allow re-grounding and centring – a truly gifted and caring teacher.

The second day was devoted to Healing Awakenments and we were led through a meditation/journey to meet our own Healing Angel – a most powerful and empowering experience. Time was given to studying the various symbols and their meanings, and experiencing the healing both as a client and a healer – working directly with our Healing Angel. At the close of the day, Carolyn channelled a message for the group from the Cosmic Ascended Master Solomon – another wonderful experience.

There is so much more I could say about this amazing workshop, but words alone cannot do it justice – it just has to be experienced. If you are interested in adding another dimension to your Reiki practice, or bringing new awareness and purpose into your life, this is the workshop for you.

by Jacky NewcombI can see Angels

I Can See Angels is a delightful new collection of real-life angel encounters: fascinating and comforting, it shows you that there is always an angel by your side.

As Jacky described in her book, just reading about angels can truly lift your spirit. And that is certainly what reading this book did for me. The book technically is not just about angel encounters as there are also many encounters with departed loved ones (including pets!). Isn’t it a wonderful thought not only angels are there for us, but we also are supported by departed loved ones?

Apart from many encounter stories is a wealth of information about angels, their signs and how to connect to them.

This book is lovely reading material for both those new to angels and those who already work with them, and want to enjoy angel energy and inspiration.

By Alison Chester-LambertThe Future in the Stars

Alison Chester-Lambert is the founder of the Midlands School of Astrology and runs an Astrological Consultancy practice. In her book, she focuses on a whole family of newly discovered dwarf planets that the astronomers named after deities from little known indigenous cultures. Drawing meaning from their ancient myths, the events surrounding their discovery and, their influence on the human race in the 21st century, she invites the reader to sit comfortably and enjoy unravelling a journey of discovery. .. . . and I did!

This book is very readable, packed with information that is clear and fun and absolutely fascinating , so much so that I didn’t want to put it down and I never thought I would say that about a book on astrology which, until now, I have always found to be very interesting, but far too technical for me to fully understand.

So, if like me you have struggled with complicated astrological jargon, I thoroughly recommend this book.

by Jenny Pearson-SnapeAwakening the Chakras through a journey of self-discovery
Jenny’s excellent book discusses the chakra system, preparing for the inner journey and how ordinary things, if looked at closely enough, will give you messages about the issues that need to be examined when dealing with releasing old thought and habit patterns within the chakras.
The physical journey undertaken by Jenny crosses many continents, collecting the energy from the seven sacred sites. It began in Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland and finished in Santiago, Spain and lasted five eventful weeks.
The task Jenny set herself and her show of stamina is an inspiration, something that we can all aspire to, especially as she offers advice for travellers who wish to do the same journey. The two meditations at the end of the book are eloquently written by Julie Wise. I run a meditation class and have used these two journey’s to help my students to connect to the flower within their hearts.
A delightful, easy to read book explaining the fascinating details of two journeys and the story behind the creation of Jenny’s seven unique sprays.

by Neale Donald WalschWhen Everything Changes

I was looking forward to Neale Donald Walsch’s latest book as I have read other books of his with enjoyment.

Neale offers nine changes that can change everything and the book is divided into two parts. The first deals with the physical aspects of how we experience change, while the second deals with the metaphysical aspects.  In other words, the first looks at how the mind works, then how the soul works.

In essence, in a time of turmoil, there is always pathway to peace. It’s all about our perception of life and how we relate to it, and also our efforts to awaken to the changes and choices that we make each and every day.

I found it a most interesting read and you don’t have to be experiencing change to get something from it. You are given clues and guidance on how your mind works and how the Soul observes how we deal with our life – by combining the two we will find the inner silence and peace that we are all looking for.

by Clemence LefrevreHimalayan Salt Crystal Lamps

Natural salt crystal has been credited with a range of curative powers, from air purification to migraine relief to protection against airborne germs. Mined in the foothills of the Himalayas, where they have absorbed mineral elements that enrich them and imbue them with different colours, salt crystal lamps release healing negative ions into the air when turned on. For healing, harmony & purification there are reasons why every household or treatment room should have one or two salt crystal lamps within their environment.

Clemence’s book gives a good clear background to how rock salt, then salt crystals are formed. The discussion on the different colours of the salt lamps is thorough with clear recommendations as to which lamps should go into different rooms or for different functions, such as meditation, before going to bed, in the office, child’s room, dinning room etc.

The visualisations and the paranormal sciences made interesting reading and this book has re-ignited my desire to have a salt lamp not only in my home but also in my therapy room. As a therapist I shall be recommending to my clients that they may wish to use a lamp to help them combat the effects of stress. Salt lamps bring peace and harmony to the local environment so that we can enjoy our time while here on Mother Earth.

Stunning debut album by Fraser Morris, taking you through Islands, Rivers & Waterfalls, through Cosmic Beauty and ending up at Realisation of Self.

This album is so soothing and calming and is the perfect remedy for helping to de-stress and wind-down at the end of a long and tiring day. You do notice a calmness that descends into the room as it progresses.

Also, as a therapist I now use this CD to help my clients find that relaxed, calm, person they are without the hustle and bustle of work. All in all this is a thoroughly enjoyable CD.

A Book of Spiritual Poetry

by Valerie ColeA Book of Spiritual Poetry

The drawing and words on the contents page starts with words of delight – “Dear Reader, I honour your path on planet earth. May it be joyous with many blessings of peace and light everlasting”. This drew me to read further into the poems and the simplicity of the words took my breath away. It is a delightful, simple and heartfelt book and these are poems for all occasions.  I especially enjoyed “Transition” finding it very poignant. The delightful drawings by Jill Paine to accompany the poems add a unique specialness to the book aswell.

I would recommend this book to those who like poetry and also to those just starting to take a small step into the world of poetry.
